Gas
Metre works with a Solid State sensor requiring no maintenance.
It detects most of the combustible gases. The display is available
in concentration or in percentage (in%) of the LEL (low Explosivity
limit) appropriate for every gas (methane, butane, Propane, hydrogen).
Due to his sensor situated at the end of a flexible hose, it is
possible to localize small leaks in the least accessible hidden
recesses. The cadence of the sound alarm increases with the percentage
of the LEL and so the danger of explosion. A measure can be performed
in less tan one or two minutes only. This device works with 6
AAA batteries (autonomy 14 hours) but is also rechargeable thanks
to a recharging kit (which contains 6 rechargeable batteries AAA
NIMH for 6 hours of autonomy, a desktop charger and a cigarette
lighter plug charger for car). Option: the leather cover with
rotary clip for an intensive usage.
