- On February 15, 2001 Europe approved finally a standard relative
to CO domestic alarms. Indeed, dozens of thousand Europeans
are poisoned and hospitalized every years having breathed carbon
monoxyde in their premise. New Standards who follows the preparation
of this standard for years announces the imminent release of
several models of CO alarms compliant with this new standard.
Domestic model ALCOHA (for Alarm CO for Habitat) is a small
wall case with LCD display and visual and sound alarm. Powered
in 230V, this alarm does not require any maintenance during
at least 10 years.
